Thinking about our Self-Governance

 Thinking about our self governance.

Why do we never have 'A' 'B' 'C' options for government bonds? And why not make more elections nimble and responsive to intent by using plurality voting methods.

Like:

"Measure 1 - Public infrastructure project proposal!

Choices;

 A - $125bln, all the features. ($100 bond tax due every year for 50 years.)

 B - $75bln, some features. ($50 bond tax due every year for 45 years.)

 C - $55 bln, a minimal version. ($35 bond tax due every year for 35 years.)

 D - I oppose this measure and vote

        'no'!

The plurality vote component would be  the order of your preference. I want version A, only, and then leave blank or put a 'D' on your paper ballot (has to be paper because you have to be auditable) vote D all the way down. Or, I'll take the C which is the cheap version, etc., etc..

Plurality voting will have it's place in the sun. It gives more people more reach with their voice and intent, you can imagine the voter preference results that this allows for when voter anonymity is garunteed. Heatmap style multicolor infrographics that shows a much subtler tone for how groups of people think relative to their physical geospacial reality and how this can lead to new ways of interaction around sharing ideas and self-governance. That's what social media is kind of doing, bringing people of the same mindframe (humor seekers, reddit subreddit groups). What a time to be alive.
